Accounts & Sign-in

Google sign-in, including on the Switch

Brewser accounts are Google-backed — no separate password to manage.

Signing in on the Switch

The Switch has no comfortable way to type an email and password, so Brewser uses the device-code flow: the console shows a short code, you visit a Google URL on your phone or computer, enter the code, and you're signed in. Verified end-to-end on real hardware.

What an account gets you

  • Achievements and progress tracking
  • Rating apps
  • Participating in the Ideas Board
  • Publishing apps (publisher dashboard)

Privacy

Authentication is handled by Google — Brewser never sees or stores your password. To link your saves, scores and achievements to you, Brewser stores your Google account identifier; if you publish, your developer profile also stores your email and display name. Full details are on Privacy & Your Data.
